The 17-foot skiff carrying four passengers capsized when it was hit by a larger boat’s wake at about 2:50 p.m. today near the Coronado Bridge, USCG Petty Officer Henry Dunphy said.

Coast Guard responders rescued three people from the water while another boat in the area rescued the fourth person, all within five minutes of the boat capsizing, Dunphy said. None of the people were injured and they were taken to the USCG Sector San Diego base on Harbor Drive.

The harbor police were towing the capsized boat to the USCG base, Dunphy said. It was not immediately clear who reported the incident.
