The breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on June 8 at 8034 Allison Avenue at the La Mesa Fire Station 11, according to the department.

Tickets are $5.00 and breakfast will include eggs, sausage, coffee and orange juice. Tickets will be available at the door.

Funds from the event will be donated to the Heartland Fire Explorers Program, a youth program affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America that focuses on the basics of firefighting, officials said.

This year’s breakfast will also include public training in emergency preparedness, CPR, basic first aid and crime prevention. Informational booths will be available for those interested in additional training programs.

Firefighters will also be on hand for cooking demonstrations.
