The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System will be operating on a Sunday schedule Wednesday for Christmas, and adult passengers can bring a guest to ride for free with the MTS’ Friends Ride Free holiday promotion.

All trolley lines will be operating every 30 minutes.

There will be no service on Rapid Express Bus Routes 280 or 290, and Rural Routes 888, 891, 892 and 894.

Holiday travelers can take direct connections to San Diego Airport through Route 992 adjacent to Santa Fe Depot at 1050 Kettner Blvd., or the San Diego Airport Flyer from Old Town Transit Center at 4005 Taylor St.

MTS support service offices, including information and trip planning as well as the PRONTO Support Center and the Transit Store and Customer Service offices, will all be closed Christmas Day, reopening on Thursday.
