
Grab your sleds and gloves: Mid-City Community Advocacy Network, a non-profit organization in City Heights, is hosting Snowy Wonderland on Sunday, Dec. 15 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Sherman Heights Community Center.
This free family holiday event will feature more than 25 tons of real snow for children and families to enjoy. Families can take a photo with Santa at his grotto. There will be arts and crafts activities, over 20 community organizations with free resources, and more.
This popular event draws around 400-500 community members so arrive early and get ready for some fun.
Sherman Heights Community Center, located on 2258 Island Ave., was founded in 1984 and promotes educational, health, personal development, and cultural programs that enhance the well-being of individuals and families in Sherman Heights and surrounding neighborhoods.
