Temporary freeway-to-freeway connector closures will take place on Interstate 8 and associated ramps Saturday through early Monday, officials said.
The closures will be in effect until at least 5 a.m. Monday for excavation work, according to Caltrans.
The following ramps will experience temporary closures:
— I-8 ramps westbound to northbound state Route 67 and;
— Magnolia Avenue southbound.
Motorists were advised to detour to the West Main Street off-ramp, turn left to the eastbound I-8 on-ramp, to northbound SR-67 or southbound Magnolia Avenue ramps.
