In honor of National Roller Coaster day this Friday, SeaWorld is inviting adrenaline junkies along for the ride all weekend with their coasters and themed activities.
On Friday, August 16, guests can test their knowledge of roller coasters during the first-ever Coaster Trivia Happy Hour.
At 4:00 p.m. at the Nautilus Pavilion in the park, guests can join to compete to win a behind-the-scenes tour. The prize includes behind-the-scenes views of Manta, a walkthrough inside Arctic Rescue, and exclusive views from below Electric Eel. They also include complimentary admission tickets, parking, and unlimited front-of-line access to popular roller coasters on a day of their choice.
For those who would like to commemorate the day, the park is also offering a discount on ride photos for guests throughout the weekend. Photos will be available for $5 per photo at each ride. They will be available only that day and cannot be combined with other discounts.
As part of the festivities, guests will receive 10% off coasters merchandise at the Arctic Rescue, Emperor and Electric Eel retail store, and kiosks, plus an additional 10% off for Annual Pass Members.
In the spirit of National Roller Coaster Day and SeaWorld’s 60th Anniversary this year, the park will also surprise 60 guests each day throughout the weekend with a one-time Quick Queue for the ride of their choice.
Guests can also enjoy cocktails and the rides during a two-our hour Coasters and Cocktails tour. The tour will feature samples of SeaWorld beers, specialty cocktails, or mocktails — and expedited access to the coasters.
