Today, the city of Chula Vista announced that its community shuttle program will now be open to all adults in northwest Chula Vista.
The shuttle program originally launched in 2022 to give free door-to-door service for those 55 years old and older. Now, passengers between 18 and 54 years of age can use the service for a fee of $2 per ride.
Children can also ride along with adults.

The door-to-door service can be requested through the Circuit app or by calling (646) 504-3733. The service area runs approximately through the Sweetwater River to the north, to the bayfront on the west, to 805/Hilltop Drive to the east and L Street to the south. Its operating hours are Monday –Friday from 7 a.m to 7 p.m.
The service includes an all-electric powered fleet of five sedans, including ADA-accessible vehicles.
The shuttle is funded by a $1 million grant from the Community Congregational
Development Corporation, an organization dedicated to supporting the well-being of older adults with economic challenges.
Some funding is also through a $1.5 million grant from Clean Mobility Options, which helps under resourced communities gain clean mobility projects.
