Dry conditions are expected through the remainder of the weekend for San Diego County, with slightly-above average temperatures early next week, forecasters said Saturday.

The downtown San Diego area will see mostly sunny skies Sunday and Monday, with highs near 71, according to the National Weather Service.

The deserts are expected to be mostly sunny, with highs reaching the low 90s by Monday. A mix of clear and sunny conditions are expected in the mountains throughout the week, with highs in the mid-70s.

Along the coast, a mix of partly cloudy and sunny conditions is expected next week, with daytime highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. Inland valley areas are expected to see sun for the beginning of the week, with light clouds creeping in by Wednesday and highs reaching the upper 70s.

No hazardous marine conditions are expected through Wednesday, the NWS said.

Sunday’s San Diego surf forecast includes a high-risk rip current, with surf height from 3 to 5 feet, water temperature from 60 to 62 and a mixed west swell from 280 degrees and southwest swell from 220 degrees.
