The Business Recovery Center that had been set up by the Small Business Association in National City to aid businesses that were affected by the January storm and flooding will close this coming week, the organization announced Friday.
The last day of operation will be Friday, April 19th. The center will close permanently that day at 5 p.m.
Until the center closes, representatives will continue to be available to help answer questions about SBA’s disaster loan program, explain the application process, and help individuals complete a loan application. There is no appointment required.
The Business Recovery Center is located at Southwestern College’s Higher Education Center, 880 National City Blvd. in National City.
Although the deadline to apply for a physical damage loan is also April 19, small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, non-profit organizations of all sizes will have until Nov. 19 to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan.
Until then, the Business Recovery Center will be open all week as normal from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
