A 47-year-old motorcyclist died Friday in a solo crash in Rancho Peñasquitos.
The man lost control of his 2023 Harley-Davidson while heading south in the 13500 block of Black Mountain Road at high speed about 12:15 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
The rider, whose name was withheld pending family notification, died at the scene, SDPD Officer David O’Brien said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
