Sesame Place San Diego is celebrating everyday heroes in the local community during Super Grover’s Everyday Heroes Weekend from Feb. 16 to Feb. 19.
Guests can meet real-life heroes from the neighborhood including police officers and firefighters and take photos with emergency vehicles. Visitors will also be able to do story time with Super Grover, dance along at a special hero-themed dance party, and more.
To thank our local community heroes, Sesame Place San Diego is offering free single-day admission tickets to first responders including police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians during this event. First responders must register online with GovX in advance, and tickets can only be redeemed from Feb. 16 through Feb. 19. First responders will also have the option to purchase up to six tickets for just $35.99 each to share with friends and family members to attend the event.

The theme park is also offering a free child’s admission with the purchase of paid adult through the month of March.
The celebration is a part of Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest, which is a celebration of everyone’s favorite furry friends. Each weekend offers exciting family fun and is filled with unique activities that guests won’t want to miss, including special dance parties, storytimes, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, and more. The family-friendly event runs on weekends through Sunday, March 17.
