Dry and warmer weather is forecast for the San Diego region on Tuesday before another low-pressure system moves through Southern California, the National Weather Service said.

It will be partly cloudy and a few degrees warmer along the coast and in the valleys, and up to 10 degrees warmer under sunny conditions in the mountains and deserts.

Highs are forecast to be around 70 near the coast, 72 inland, 72 to 77 in the valleys, 67 to 74 in the mountains and around 84 in the deserts.

A low-pressure system from the north will bring stronger onshore flow and a deepening of the marine layer on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be 5 to 10 degrees below average for the mountains and valleys.

The weekend is expected to be cooler and breezy, with a slight chance of showers on Saturday night.
