Last U.S. Exit on Eastbound SR-905 to Close Tuesday thru Thursday. Diagram via Caltrans

Caltrans crews will close the Siempre Viva Rd./Last U.S. Exit on State Route 905 for three nights — from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday,

Those who do not wish to cross the Otay Mesa Port of Entry into Mexico should keep right and take the eastbound SR-11 connector, exit Enrico Fermi Dr. off-ramp, then turn right onto Enrico Fermi Dr.

A U-Turn to the USA will be available via the left lane on SR-905 before the Port of Entry for motorists who miss the detour signage.

The project includes asphalt and pavement micro-surfacing, new thermoplastic striping, and upgraded wrong-way driver striping enhancements, at all ramps along SR-905 from San Ysidro to Otay Mesa, and will continue through late September according to Caltrans.

Traffic delays may occur, and travelers are advised to plan and allow additional time to reach their destinations. Motorists are asked to Be Work Zone Alert and watch for workers while driving in the area.
