
Cool and breezy weather is forecast for the San Diego region through Wednesday, with a small craft warning in effect for coastal waters, the National Weather Service said.
“A broad area of low pressure will remain over the western states,” the agency forecast. “It will remain cooler and breezy through Wednesday.”
A small craft advisory was issued from 5 a.m. Monday to 10 p.m. Wednesday with northwest winds 15 to 20 knots and gusts up to 25 knots expected.
High temperatures on Monday are forecast to be 63 to 68 along the coast and in the valleys, 57 to 66 in the mountains and 83 to 88 in the deserts , according to the weather agency.
The weather could change noticeably during the latter half of the week as high pressure rebuilds over the Southwest.
Forecasters expect hot days to return inland by next weekend.
