Southern California residents looking for a family-friendly summer concert can head to the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum. The Escondido-based museum recently launched its fourth annual summer concert series, featuring popular children’s bands, including Hullabaloo.
The concerts, which are free with paid general admission, feature live music, crafts in the Outdoor Maker Studio, face painting, food trucks and vendors, gelato, and beer and wine for adults.
Other than Hullabaloo, guests can also expect performances by Kathryn the Grape, Latin music by Israel Maldonado, and mother-daughter duo Ruth & Emilia.
Museum officials said the concert series is aimed at bringing “the community together in the spirit of summer and raise funds to benefit the Museum’s educational exhibits and programs.”
The concerts will be held 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 6, July 20 and Aug. 3.
The event is included in paid admission, which ranges from $1 to $8. Active-duty service members, veterans and their families, as well as, children under 1 are free.
