
Caltrans will be working on various projects throughout San Diego County on Saturday, June 8. Below is a list of places to avoid if possible when you are out and about.
I-805/SR-52 Connector
Maintenance crews will close the southbound Interstate 805 (I-805) connector to State Route 52 (SR-52) from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. for guardrail repair, according to Caltrans.
Signs will be placed directing motorists on southbound I-805 to exit onto eastbound Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, continue eastbound on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard to northbound I-805 to SR-52.
SR-94/SR-15 Closed
Caltrans maintenance crews will also close the westbound State Route 94 (SR-94) connector to southbound State Route 15 (SR-15) from 3 a.m. to 8 a.m. for guardrail repair.
Detour signs will direct motorists on westbound SR-94 to exit at 30th St. and turn left, turn left onto Market Street to southbound SR-15.
I-15 Express Lanes Closed
Additionally, Caltrans will close all southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) Express Lanes from Mission Avenue to Duenda Road Saturday from 3 a.m. to 11 a.m. for electrical maintenance.
Caltrans reminds drivers to be alert when the barrier transfer machine is moving by avoiding distracted driving and paying constant attention to traffic.
