One-time first daughter Chelsea Clinton will lead a slate of female executives Wednesday who will speak at the Women in Leadership 2019 event at UC San Diego.

The event is sold out, but tickets remain for the 3:30 p.m. book signing that precedes the 6:30 p.m. main event. Tickets are required for the book signing at the UC San Diego Book Store.

Clinton, vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, an author and instructor at Columbia University, will be joined on the panel by Sylvia Acevedo, CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA and one-time rocket scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Jedidah Isler, an assistant professor of physics and astronomy at Dartmouth College whose TED talks have logged more than 2.5  million views.

Lynn Sherr, a journalist and former ABC news anchor, will serve as the moderator.

The event honors the legacy of late astronaut Sally Ride, the first American woman on a space mission. Ride died in 2012 at the age of 61.
