Donors to the San Diego Blood Bank will receive a voucher for free tickets to a San Diego Legion Major League Rugby Club game, the blood bank announced Tuesday.
The giveaway starts Wednesday and lasts until tickets for the game are gone, a blood bank official said. The Legion will play the Austin Elite on April 7 in Torero Stadium, located on the University of San Diego campus.
David Wellis, San Diego Blood Bank CEO, said the organization will continue to partner with the Legion “throughout the year to bring more opportunities to our community.”
Eligible blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds and be in generally good health.
