The National Weather Service office in San Diego is forecasting another cold night on Monday, with frost likely in the inland valleys.
Lows are expected to range from 31 to 41 along the coast, 31 to 38 in the valleys and 19 to 29 in the mountains.
“Cold and frosty again in the valleys tonight,” the weather service said. “Prepare for the freezing temperatures.”
The region is expected to dry out through at least Wednesday morning, when another cold storm will arrive.
“Rain and snow showers could return as soon as Wednesday afternoon, but will be more likely on Thursday into Friday morning,” the weather service said.
