Construction crews will close the southbound State Route 163 connector ramp to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) Friday at 10 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. to continue a project that will improve the pavement, upgrade the guardrail and install a new maintenance vehicle pullout, according to Caltrans.
Changeable messages signs have been placed to alert motorists of the closure. Detour signs will be posted directing motorists around the closure. Please remember it is the law to slow down in an active construction zone.
