Construction crews will close all lanes of eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) between Interstate 805 (I-805) and State Route 163 (SR-163) beginning Saturday at 7 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. to repair pavement dips.
The connector ramps from northbound and southbound SR-163 and the Convoy Street on-ramp to eastbound SR-52 will also be closed.
Eastbound SR-52 motorists will be detoured to southbound I-805 to eastbound Interstate 8, then to the northbound Interstate 15 to the eastbound and westbound SR-52 ramps.
Changeable message signs have been placed to alert motorists of the upcoming closure.
Caltrans reminds drivers to ‘Be Work Zone Alert’ by avoiding distracted driving, paying constant attention to traffic, and slowing down when approaching work zones.
