The transition ramp from southbound state Route 163 to westbound state Route 52 in Kearny Mesa will be closed for several hours beginning early Saturday morning for repaving.
The closure will begin at 3 a.m. Saturday and end around 11 a.m., according to Caltrans. Southbound drivers on SR-163 will be directed to exit at Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and guided onto northbound SR-163 to the westbound 52 connector.
Drivers are reminded to “be work-zone alert” in the area by avoiding distracted driving, paying close attention to traffic and slowing down when approaching the closure.
