The National Weather Service office in San Diego is forecasting a return of Santa Ana winds on Friday night and Saturday.

Wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph are expected in the San Diego County mountains and passes.

The weather service described the winds as “a weak Santa Ana pattern,” but cautioned that fires could still spread.

Highs on Saturday are forecast to range from 75 to 83 with humidity dropping to as low as 10 percent.
