As construction continues on a $15.5 million roundabout project at state Route 76 and Valley Center Road, officials said Friday drivers should expect traffic delays on three consecutive days starting Monday.
Those driving on Valley Center Road from State Route 76 to Ahuya Ranch Road will face one-way traffic control on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 each night until 5 the following morning, Caltrans officials said.
The multimillion-dollar roundabout project — expected to be completed next summer — will replace a three-way intersection for traffic safety reasons. Since July, construction crews have been working to realign the curves just east of the intersection to improve the sight distance for motorists traveling westbound.
Other project features include extra signage, sidewalks, curb ramps, landscaping and a new bus pull-out.
