All lanes of westbound Interstate 8 at the Interstate 5/Rosecrans Street interchange will close Sunday and Monday nights for pavement work, according to Caltrans.
All of the connector ramps to northbound and southbound I-5, as well as access to Rosecrans Street, will remain open.
The closures are from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Caltrans said.
Westbound I-8 motorists will be detoured to the northbound I-5 connector ramp to the Sea Word Drive off-ramp, continue west on Sea World Drive to Sunset Cliffs Boulevard.
Caltrans can be followed via Twitter, which also notes a partial Coronado Bridge closure 4 to 11 a.m. Sunday.
