The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is holding a “Women’s Expo and Career Fair” Saturday, and is encouraging job seekers to meet with onsite recruiters to discuss opportunities.
According to a news release, the department is looking to fill both sworn positions and civilian support jobs, including: deputies, 911 dispatchers, administrative professionals, criminalist, registered nurse, licensed/vocational nurse, correctional counselor, licensed mental health clinicians, dietician, food services worker, cook, stock clerk, laundry worker, custodian, detentions information assistant, detentions processing technician, detentions processing supervisor, and legal support assistant.
The event takes place 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the County Operations Center, 5520 Overland Avenue in Kearny Mesa. Parking is free.
