Lane closures on the northbound Interstate 15 Freeway and on northbound State Route 163 next week are necessary to continue work replacing freeway slabs damaged in a recent vehicle fire, Caltrans reported.
The Jan. 16-20 closures will take place on I-15 from SR-52 to Ammo Road; on SR-163, the closures will extend from SR-52 to I-15.
The shutdowns will begin each night at 8 p.m. and extend to 5 a.m. the next day, weather permitting.
At least one northbound lane will remain open on each highway, according to Caltrans.
Motorists are reminded to slow when highway workers are present with amber lights flashing and to Be Work Zone Alert.
