Northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) will be reduced to one lane between State Route 52 (SR-52) and Ammo Road beginning Thursday at 8 p.m. and reopening Friday by 5 a.m., Caltrans reported.
Northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) will also close to one lane during the same time period, according to the agency.
The closures are needed to allow crews to replace freeway slabs damaged in a recent vehicle fire, the report continued.
Motorists are reminded to slow when highway workers are present.
