An Alzheimer’s patient who had been missing for about 24 hours was found in good condition Tuesday a few blocks from his La Mesa home, authorities reported.
Poman Lee, 82, wandered away from his Yale Avenue residence shortly after 11:30 a.m. Monday, according to police.
Lee, who only speaks and understands Mandarin Chinese, remained at large until about 11:40 Tuesday morning, when he was located on Hybeth Drive, roughly a half-mile from where he lives.
Though he was alert and appeared healthy, Lee was taken to a hospital for a precautionary evaluation.
