The 38th annual San Diego Blood Bank Chargers Blood Drive is taking place at the Town and Country Resort Hotel and Convention Center, with players and Charger Girls expected to attend.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Nov. 22, at the resort located at 500 Hotel Circle South.

Parking is free for donors, who will also receive a voucher that may be redeemed for a free t-shirt, as well as a VIP wristband for the autograph line with players and Charger Girls. Donors will also have the opportunity to purchase an entry to win a new Honda CR-V, donated by the Honda Dealers of San Diego County, which will be given away the same day.

Participants who do not plan to donate blood but would still like to attend the event and meet Chargers players and Charger Girls will be charged a $5 entry fee for adults and $1 for children ages 12 and under. Blood donors may request their admission price be refunded if they donate.

San Diego County Credit Union is returning as the presenting sponsor of the blood drive. SDCCU has supported the event for the past 18 years.
