A low pressure system off Baja California will cause the San Diego area to warm up this weekend, with highs reaching the 90s in inland locations.

The National Weather Service office in San Diego said temperatures will peak on Sunday, with a weak offshore wind causing dry and hot conditions inland.

Ramona is forecast to reach 99 degrees, Escondido 94 and Alpine 97 on Sunday. Temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler on Saturday, but still warm.

It will be cooler on the beaches, though, on the last weekend of summer, with highs in the 70s on both Saturday and Sunday.
