San Diego residents can expect cool temperatures Sunday.

The high for the city of San Diego will be 70 with light and variable wind in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

Cool temperatures will continue on Labor Day as the week gets slightly hotter with a high of 72 expected for Tuesday and 80 expected for Wednesday.

Meanwhile, inland and desert communities do have a Red Flag Warning in effect until 12 p.m. Monday for strong gusty winds and low humidities.
