The National Weather Service office in San Diego is forecasting great summer weather on Saturday after low morning clouds and fog.

The forecast calls for cooler weather than in recent days, with highs of 72 to 77 near the coast and 76 to 81 inland. Lows overnight will be in the mid 60s.

“Great summer weather will continue at the beaches this weekend with low clouds lingering along the coast through late morning,” the weather service said. “Afternoon conditions will be mostly sunny with light to moderate westerly sea breezes.”

The weather service said a combination of southwest and northwest swells will bring mixed surf to the beaches, with sets to 4 ft possible along southwest facing beaches.
