The La Mesa Police Department on Saturday will host its 5th annual Safety Fair.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about police-related issues and see a demonstration by the emergency response team.
Police vehicles and the Heartland fire truck will also be on display. The public will be able to take guided tours of the La Mesa Police Department as well.
In addition, there will be kids fingerprinting and a jump house. Free hotdogs, chips and water will also be provided.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 8085 University Ave.
