Crews will close all lanes of Escondido’s westbound state Route 78 at the Interstate 15 connector Wednesday and Thursday nights for pavement work, according to Caltrans. The hours affected are 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Motorists will be detoured to the northbound I-15 connector ramp and proceed to the El Norte Parkway off-ramp, then back onto southbound I-15 to the westbound SR-78 connector ramp.
The closures are scheduled at night during lower traffic volumes to minimize impacts to travelers, Caltrans said.
