Northbound Interstate 805 will be closed between La Jolla Village Drive and Miramar Road and Interstate 5 Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Caltrans announced Tuesday.
The closures are required for signal installation, guardrail and bridge work.
Northbound traffic will be detoured to westbound State Route 52 to northbound I-5. The Nobel Drive and Governor Drive exists will remain open to local traffic.
Motorists are reminded to Be Work Zone Alert and to Move Over a lane when safe to do so, or slow when highway workers are present with amber lights flashing.
