The San Diego Zoo Thursday unveiled a puzzle game for iOS mobile devices, created as part of the park’s centennial celebration.
“Living Legends” is a physics-based game designed to increase awareness of the threats facing endangered species.
The game has different levels of difficulty, each featuring an endangered animal, like a lion, giant panda, polar bear, gorilla and rhinoceros.
The Android version is scheduled for release March 31. The zoo plans to roll out more levels with additional endangered species later this summer.
A public celebration of the zoo’s 100th birthday is scheduled May 14 in Balboa Park.
