San Diego Latino Film Festival
The 23rd annual San Diego Latino Film Festival is officially underway at AMC Fashion Vally 18. Head over to the theater to get a dose of entertainment, culture and fun. Organizers lined up a variety of movies, parties and concerts that run through March 20. Ticket prices vary.
It can’t be a San Diego weekend without some fine craft beer. The Best Coast Beer Fest takes place at the Embarcadero Marina Park South at 1 p.m. Saturday. Visitors will have the chance to sample brews from more than 100 craft breweries from the West Coast. Tickets start at $45.
21st Annual Youth Fitness Expo
Grab your tennis shoes and head to Balboa Park for family-friendly fun. The 21st annual Youth Fitness Expo offers attendees education booths, activities and games — all with the goal of promoting a healthy life. It takes place at 1 p.m. at Balboa Park, and admission is free.
36th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival
It’s your lucky weekend! The 36th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival takes place Saturday at Balboa Park. Indulge in all things Irish, including music, food and fun.
Attention moms and dads, this one is for you. Learn about the latest products and services available for your little bundle of joy at this BabyFest event. The festival takes place at 10 a.m. Sunday at the
QLN Conference Center in Oceanside. Tickets range from $5 to $8.
