
San Diego Audubon’s 20th Annual Bird Festival begins Thursday.

The event, which runs through Sunday, gives attendees the opportunity to celebrate and explore the one-of-a-kind wildlife that makes San Diego a birder’s paradise.
Participants can choose from over 40 field trips to catch sight of hundreds of bird species across San Diego County, dozens of workshops on bird photography and art and an optics fair to test top-tier bird-watching equipment.
On Sunday, Audubon presents a free Family Day with award-winning live music and more hands-on activities than ever such as building birdhouses, exploring guided nature walks and more.
The event take places at Marina Village Conference Center at 1936 Quivira Way in San Diego.
