The annual Chocolate Festival is returning to San Diego, it was announced Wednesday.

Hosted by the Maritime Museum, the festival will explore the history of the sweet treat and how it came to the U.S.

The event will feature more than 15 vendors showcasing and sampling various types of chocolate, there is something for every palette.

Kids and adults can make their own chocolate pizza, craft activities and more to delight chocolate lovers of all ages.

The adults can participate in the wine and chocolate pairings, as well as live baking and cooking with chocolate demonstrations.

The 5th annual Chocolate Festival takes place April 3. Tickets are $17 for adults and $9 for children.
