Authorities asked the public for help in finding an Alzheimer’s disease patient who went missing Monday from her home near Agua Hedionda Lagoon.
Mary “Aggie” Madden, 76, is believed to have walked away from her home on Chinquapin Avenue in Carlsbad about 7:30 a.m., according to police.
Madden, who cannot always remember her address, is a 5-foot-5-inch, roughly 150-pound white woman with straight shoulder-length gray hair and blue eyes. She favors black clothing and usually wears six or seven rings on her fingers.
Anyone who might be able to help locate Madden was asked to call Carlsbad police at (760) 931-2197.
