Children’s book author Oliver Chin will come to San Diego for a book signing.
Chin, author of “The Year of the Monkey: Tales from the Chinese Zodiac” will speak and sign books at 1 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Chuang Archive and Learning Center. The address is 541 B Second Avenue.
Chin’s book is about the exciting adventure of Max, son of the famous Monkey King, a mythological character in the renowned classical Chinese novel: Journey to the West. After discovering a new sport with his fellow classmate, he strives to rise to the top and find his unique identity. With its bilingual English and Chinese text, it’s perfect for children of all ages who are interested in China or studying Chinese.
The event is hosted by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum.
