Two retirement-age women escaped harm Thursday when the car they were in smashed through the front of a North County card club, winding up entirely inside the building.
The crash in the 2300 block of South Escondido Boulevard happened about noon, according to police.
No injuries were reported, Sgt. Craig Miller said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
