SeaWorld San Diego will host its annual Pole to Pole 5K Fun Run on March 6.
The event, which takes place inside the adventure park, will allow participants to run by lions, dolphins, birds and of course, Shamu. Costume characters and information about conservation efforts will also be available to participants.
Registered runners will receive t-shirt, a light breakfast, an opportunity drawing for prizes and free single-day admission to SeaWorld either March 5 or March 6. Proceeds from this fun event will go directly to on-the-ground research and
