Elsa, Anna and Vanessa Carlton. That’s what’s in stored for San Diego this weekend.
Here are this week’s picks of events:
It’s been three years since the beloved Disney film, “Frozen” was released and we still can’t let it go. Relive why you loved the film so much with a live, on-ice version of the show complete with other Disney characters. Disney on Ice is playing at Valley View Casino through Sunday. Ticket start at $20.
San Diego Sunroad Marina Boat Show
The annual San Diego Sunroad Marina Boat Show is back. Visitors will see new and pre-cruised sailboats and yachts, interact with vendors and take a boat ride or two. Tickets are $12 for adults.
California’s young playwrights will see their work play out at the Old Globe through Jan. 31, and you should join them! See the great works of young minds with a variety of productions. Tickets range from $10 to $60.
Food Forest Festival
What’s a weekend without great food? A sad one. The Leightag Foundation is hosting a Food Forest Festival on Sunday where attendees will plant edibles, eat lunch and hear the tunes of Darshan. And, it’s free!
Vanessa Carlton is back and she’s better than ever. That’s right, forget “A Thousand Miles.” Carlton will bring her latest hits to the Casbah on Sunday. Tickets are $26.
