Drizzles of rain are expected to continue through Monday in the San Diego County area, the National Weather Service reported on Sunday.
The light rains are expected to begin after 11 pm on Sunday evening and end around 11 am on Monday morning, according to the NWS.
Low pressure and a weak disturbance will keep the weather cool and possibly bring a few heavy showers and thunderstorms in the mountains and deserts.
However, it will not stay cool for long. The NWS expected drier air by Tuesday, which should create warm days with strong offshore winds. Sunny weather with comfortable temperatures in the mid 70s is expected for the rest of the week.
