Now that’s the rain is over, it’s time to go out and play.
Here are the top events for this weekend.

Beer festivals in San Diego are a dime a dozen, but this weekend is the original and oldest beer festival in San Diego.

At the San Diego Bayfair’s World Series of Powerboat Racing, the fastest boats in the world compete to see who’s the fastest.
The event is family friendly with live bands, kids’ zone, specialty food vendors, and, yes, beer gardens.

It’s the one week in San Diego where you can eat like a king and pay like a pauper. San Diego Restaurant Week is here.

The event goes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range from $25 to $250.
Saturday is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. What better way to celebrate than at Seaport Village’s Landlubbers Day.
All things pirate will be celebrated. The event features live music from a pirate-themed band, the Jackstraws, a costume contest and a “Talk Like a Pirate” contest. So, get on your pirate garbs and give it your best argh!
