Sue Delaney, a long-time disc jockey at San Diego’s KGB and other stations, died this week, the station confirmed. During the 80s and 90s she regularly appeared on the FM rock station and hosted a morning show with Jeff Prescott.
Once called the ”high priestess of afternoon-drive radio in San Diego” by the San Diego Union-Tribune, the radio personality had suffered from many health problems, San Diego news station NBC7 reported.
According to the Union-Tribune, Delaney graduated from San Diego State University. She also had worked at 91X.
