Giant panda Xiao Liwu (pronounced shyaow lee woo) celebrated his third birthday at the San Diego Zoo Saturday.

The zoo decorated his exhibit with a new swing, tiny gift boxes made of hay, and a specially made birthday cake.

Put together by the zoo’s nutritional team, the treat consisted of fruits, vegetables, bamboo stalks and colored ice.

The panda, also known as Mr. Wu, weighed 155 pounds Saturday. Giant pandas weigh around 250 pounds when they are full grown.
