It might not meet with Donald Trump’s approval, but an event to celebrate breastfeeding mothers and their babies is scheduled Saturday morning at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas.

The “Big Latch On” begins at 9:30 a.m. and will include a family parade, according to Scripps Health.

At 10:30 a.m., participants are scheduled to conduct one minute of simultaneous breast-feeding. Last year, more than 13,000 mothers and children in 31 countries participated in the Big Latch On.

The event is in conjunction with World Breast-Feeding Week. Scripps Health says Encinitas Mayor Kristin Gaspar, a breast-feeding advocate whose three children were born at Scripps Encinitas, will present a proclamation.

Trump, the real estate magnate and presidential hopeful, became embroiled in a dispute earlier this week with a lawyer who claimed he called her “disgusting” four years ago for wanting to pump breast milk during a deposition.
